Our Advent Journey

Advent is a time of presence, and Jesus throughout His life was attentive to individuals who sought and approached Him in deep faith. We need to be with Jesus each day entrusting our dreams, hopes, desires, and concerns to Him, truly believing in faith, that Jesus desires to grant our petition. In turn, Jesus asks us to be His presence to others. We are to give of ourselves in relationships to others who seek our love, compassion, and mercy. The kingdom of God is patiently built on the quality of our daily relationships.

During this Advent/Christmas season, may our attention be drawn to forming Christ in our lives by total surrender and dependence on the loving mercy of God reveals to us so explicitly in the Incarnation.
