Sister Maria is a former RSHM Eastern American Area Councilor. She currently serves on the boards of Centro Corazon de Maria, the RSHM LIFE Center and Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. In her previous ministry, she served as an attorney with the Southwest Virginia Legal Aid Society.
