Sister Jacqueline Porter spent a number of years teaching at Marymount Universtiy in Arlington, Virginia. In her teaching, she pursued her interest in in Scripture and its interpretation throughout history, especially in the way in which the Cross poses a mark of interrogation within that history. She has presented at national conferences and has been published in journals including eythrop Journal, The Proceedings of the College Theology Society, and Philosophy and Theology. Most recently, she served as director of a new initiative at the university, RSHM Mission and Spirit, where she helped students and faculty become more aware of the heritage they share, the charism and goals of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
