Today, September 6, we celebrate National Read-A-Book Day. Through books, we can journey to far-off places, explore the universe, contemplate God and creation, expand our minds, and broaden our perspectives. Books also provide an opportunity to relax and forget about day-to-day stresses. No matter what the genre – mysteries, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, poetry, thrillers, or histories, to name a few – find a cozy spot and curl up with a book today.
