RSHM LIFE Center After School Program
If you are a recent graduate, a Teaching Assistant, teacher, or someone who just likes working with children, we have an exciting opportunity in our dynamic, after-school program. The Classroom Assistant will:
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
- Prior experience working with children in a learning environment is desired but not required.
- Able to work independently as well as able to collaborate with others.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Motivated and enthusiastic about helping others.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist students in completing daily homework assignments.
- Reinforce classroom lessons in various areas of study.
- Help students build lifetime skills in the areas of time management, organization and problem-solving.
- Help foster curiosity and enthusiasm in learning.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
This position is part-time, after-school with a Monday to Friday schedule; flexibility is required as needed. This position is not benefits eligible.
