Advent Weekend

Waiting often feels like a waste of time – and we do all we can to avoid it. Yet, so much of our days are comprised of waiting – even amidst the flurry of social media and the culture of instant gratification in which we live. Sue Monk Kidd reminds us that when we wait, we’re doing the most important thing there is – “we’re allowing our souls to grow up.” Come and reflect on this paradox, this Mystery, of our waiting for God and God’s waiting for us.

Those attending this weekend have the option to spend an additional night and join us for our Holly & Ivy Breakfast on Sunday morning at no extra charge. If you are interested, you must indicate the breakfast seating you are interested in – either 9 am or 11 am.
